Zuhra Ashurova: the secret of a talented actress who conquered stage and screen
Zuhra Ashurova is a distinguished Uzbek actress, born in 1961, who has been a prominent figure in the National Theatre since 1983. She has graced the stage in nearly 100 complex roles and is well-known for her appearances in popular films and series such as "Shaytanat" and "Osmonadagi bolalar." Ashurova is celebrated for her convincing portrayals of maternal figures and strong, dramatic characters. Her significant contributions to Uzbek art have been recognized with the titles of Honored Artist (2000) and People's Artist of Uzbekistan (2016).
Zuhra Ashurova was born in 1961 in the Qibray district of the Tashkent region. She has been working at the National Theatre since 1983. In 2000, she was awarded the title “Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” and in 2016 she received the title “People’s Artist of Uzbekistan.”
Zuhra Ashurova has performed complex roles of various characters in about 100 theatrical productions.
