The Sanderson sisters are returning – according to Deadline, work on "Hocus Pocus 3" has officially begun.
The project is still in the early stages of development. Plot details are being kept secret, but in addition to a release on the Disney+ streaming platform, the film is also planned to be shown in theaters.
But the most important detail is that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are expected to reprise their roles as the Sanderson sisters. Rumors about a third film appeared in 2023, after "Hocus Pocus 2" was released in 2022. The script is even finished, but production has just begun.
Anne Fletcher, who also directed "Hocus Pocus 2," is planned to direct the third film, but this could change as the project develops. Aside from Midler, Parker, and Najimy, the rest of the cast has not yet been announced.
