The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has released its official report on the top 20 taxpayers within the trade sector for 2025. The data highlights the significant role these major enterprises play in the national economy, as they collectively contributed 2,752.4 billion soums in tax payments. This group represents a small fraction of the 154,132 legal entities operating in the trade industry, yet they account for nearly 8 percent of the total tax revenue generated by the sector.
The report details that the top 20 companies achieved a combined turnover of 68,046.9 billion soums. Among the various tax categories, Value Added Tax (VAT) emerged as the largest contributor, totaling 961.7 billion soums, followed by excise taxes and corporate profit taxes. Other significant contributions included personal income tax and social contributions, reflecting the broad fiscal impact of these leading firms.
Leading the list of top contributors is "ANGLESEY FOOD" with 385.3 billion soums, followed by "UZUM MARKET" and "NAMANGAN-ISTIQLOL BOG'I". Other prominent names on the list include "TOTAL OIL INVEST", "UNG PETRO", and "ALIF MOLIYA". These rankings underscore the diverse nature of the trade sector, encompassing retail, fuel distribution, and consumer goods. The Tax Committee's transparency initiative aims to showcase the major contributors supporting the country's ongoing economic development as of March 23, 2026.
