The news of Jakhongir Nomozov's death caused great sorrow among the literary community and the general public. He was found dead in his apartment in the Pap district of the Namangan region. This was reported by the newspaper Qalampir.

Citizen Jakhongir Nomozov, unable to understand the essence of his actions due to mental changes, made a loop of rope on the beam of the bathhouse in his apartment, hanged himself by the neck and died at the scene.

The forensic medical report states that death was caused by mechanical asphyxia—compression of the neck area in a noose. No other injuries were found on the body.

Jakhongir Nomozov, a student at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, was also active in the field of literature and translation as a young creator. She has participated in international literary projects, and her poems have been translated into various languages (English, Azerbaijani, Turkish).
