In Akdarya, a driver who did not obey the demands of the Highway Patrol officer was arrested (video)

In the Akdarya district of the Samarkand region, a precautionary measure of arrest was applied to a driver who did not obey the lawful request of a road patrol officer.

On February 4 of this year, at 19:10, on the M-37 highway passing through the Akdarya district, a traffic police inspector stopped a Cobalt driver who violated the stopping rules. The driver was asked to provide documents, but he refused to provide them and continued driving.

Driver regrets what he did

Later, the driver expressed regret for his violation of the law, saying:

"Yesterday I drove away without giving the traffic police officer my documents. They found me anyway and arrested me. I regret my actions. I apologize to the traffic police officers and my family. My advice to all drivers is to obey the law and not get into a similar situation like I did."

Criminal case opened

A criminal case has been opened against the driver in this case under Part 1 of Article 219 of the Criminal Code (Resistance to a representative of government or a person performing a civil duty) and he was arrested in accordance with the procedural procedure. The investigation is currently ongoing.
