Diploma sellers arrested in Khorezm
A rapid response operation was conducted in cooperation with the Yangiaryk district department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and the Internal Affairs Directorate.

During the operation, citizen D.M. was detained with material evidence while he was trusting citizen D.I., receiving 900 US dollars and 1.3 million soums through his acquaintance M.Ya. in exchange for correcting the academic leave granted to him by Urgench State University and obtaining a diploma.

Also, during the pre-investigation investigation, it was revealed that citizen D.M. deceived citizens B.O. and A.B., allegedly transferring their studies at the University of the Republic of Kazakhstan to an international university in the Kyrgyz Republic, preparing a fake diploma stating that they had graduated from this educational institution, and in return, he received a total of 4,800 US dollars from them.

A criminal case has been initiated under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28, 211 (bribery), and 228 (preparation, forgery, sale or use of documents, stamps, seals, and forms) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and an investigation is underway.
