As part of her working visit to the Khorezm region, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, inspected several infrastructure facilities in the city of Urgench and studied existing problems on-site. During the visit, deficiencies in the city's economy and systems vital for the population were the focus of particular attention.
At the conclusion of the meeting, she strictly emphasized the necessity of eliminating all raised issues within a short period. In a discussion held with the participation of regional and district leaders, the overall situation in the area was analyzed in a critical spirit, and specific tasks were defined.

As Saida Mirziyoyeva noted, discussing problems openly without hiding them, analyzing them deeply, and resolving them promptly in priority areas is the most important requirement of today. In her opinion, only through such an approach can significant changes in the quality of life of the population be achieved.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the "Urgench-1" water lifting pump station. This facility serves approximately 1.78 million residents living in the city and surrounding areas.

It was noted that only 4 employees work at the station. Although this facility, built in 1970, has been repaired several times, it does not fully meet modern requirements. Inhouse there are a total of 4 pumps, one of which is kept as a reserve.
According to expert estimates, approximately 35 billion soums are required for the full modernization of the pump station. Additionally, in order to further improve water supply, around 140 billion soums may be needed for the construction of an additional 21 kilometers of water networks.

In short, a serious approach to infrastructure issues in Khorezm has begun. Now the main question is how quickly and effectively the given instructions will be implemented. The population is waiting for concrete results.
