Tashkent Region cuts speed limit to 80 km/h
In Tashkent Region, the maximum allowed speed for vehicles has been reduced from 100 km/h to 80 km/h on 37 road segments outside populated areas, reported nova24.uz.

The decision was signed by regional governor Zoyir Mirzaev on April 17. Road authorities have five days to install new speed limit signs.

The move aims to prevent traffic accidents and improve road safety. Monitoring will be carried out by the regional traffic safety department.

The decision is already in effect.
