Unauthorized outdoor advertising, banners and signs are being removed in Tashkent. The city administration reported this.

It is noted that in order to ensure legality and preserve the architectural integrity of the capital, special services are removing advertising structures without appropriate permits.

It is emphasized that unauthorized billboards, banners and signs violate the rules of landscaping and spoil the appearance of the streets and districts of the capital; Block pedestrian walkways and roadsides, making it difficult for citizens who rarely move around; Threaten traffic safety and interfere with the visibility of road signs; Damage engineering networks, including irrigation canals, and cause flooding of areas during the rainy season.

The city administration calls on business owners, individual entrepreneurs and tenants to eliminate illegal objects in order to avoid fines and additional costs.
