Actress Sabrina Jabborova, who suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident during the filming of a music video for Ozoda Nursaidova’s song, expressed hope that the truth will come out. The accused S.M. was brought to the shoot by Akhad Qayum, who said she "drove well in previous shoots," confirming that the underage girl had been allowed behind the wheel multiple times.

A trial has begun at the Mirzo Ulugbek District Criminal Court regarding a road traffic accident caused by a 16-year-old during the filming of a music video.

The incident occurred in November 2024 during the shoot of a video for singer Ozoda Nursaidova’s song. Underage actress S.M., while driving a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, ran over actress Sabrina Jabborova and another citizen. A criminal case was opened under Article 266, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation).

According to the “Mening Yurtim” TV channel, the case began to be reviewed in court on May 8.

Medical and technical examinations were conducted. Sabrina Jabborova sustained severe injuries, while another victim suffered minor bodily harm.

After the accident, Jabborova received treatment in Uzbekistan and later in Turkey.

"I ask the court only for the truth. You can see my condition — I am half-disabled, I cannot give birth. Each surgery is affecting my eyesight too. Of course, Ozoda Nursaidova helped and paid for our surgeries, but I want justice," she said in an interview with the channel.

The mother of the accused girl, who drove the vehicle without a license, claimed that the shoot crew gave her daughter the task of driving the car.

"They removed her sneakers and put her in heels. You know it’s impossible to drive in heels. Even though she said she couldn’t drive, they told her she must because it was in the script. She’s just a child — she thought she had to do it. The crew knew she was underage and didn’t have a license — they should have ensured safety protocols," the mother stated.

Director Akhad Qayum, who invited S.M. to the shoot, said he didn’t assign her to drive but did confirm that he told them she could.

"I didn’t tell her to drive, but I said she knew how. She drove well during other shoots. In hindsight, I realize it was a huge mistake," he said.

The hearing was postponed to May 14 at the request of the victim’s lawyer, so Sabrina Jabborova could review the case materials.

This case only gained public attention after actress Sabrina Jabborova posted about the incident in March 2025 — several months after it happened.
