The employees of the Uzbekistan National Central Bureau of Interpol brought two women, who were in international search, from Muscat to Tashkent. They were wanted for fraud and human trafficking.
The surveillance of the women, who committed crimes in the territory of Oman, was carried out over an extended period of time. On May 23, they were extradited and returned to Uzbekistan. As a result of a meeting between the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Muscat and law enforcement agencies in Uzbekistan, an agreement was reached on the extradition of the two women.
Another female criminal, who is charged with crimes related to human trafficking, was detained to be held accountable. Thus, international efforts are aimed at bringing citizens to justice.
Currently, these offenders have been handed over to the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan, and the process of bringing them to court has begun.
This case is considered an important step in the fight against international criminals, as such extraditions strengthen global cooperation in combating crime. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
