Illegal snake trade was exposed at the Kuyluk market
A special raid on the Kuylyk market, a large shopping center in Tashkent, revealed a crime that threatens biodiversity. During the event, organized in cooperation with the Department of Ecology, the Yashnabad district department, the National Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the individuals who illegally traded 5 eastern boas were identified and their activities were suspended. This opened a new path for nature conservation measures.

An official raid was organized based on information about the illegal trade in snakes. During operational inspections conducted by law enforcement agencies around the market area, based on a structured investigative action, five hidden snakes were distributed or exhibited for sale. The illegally used animals were obtained in violation of environmental laws.

According to the results of the raid, these animals were confiscated and later transferred to the Tashkent Zoo. This decision was made to ensure healthy care for animals and familiarize them with their natural environment. Snakes transferred to the zoo will be examined for health under the supervision of veterinary staff and adapted to natural living conditions.

Documents were prepared in accordance with Article 92 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility against violators. A fine of 3 million 750 thousand soums was determined and imposed in the appropriate manner. This fine will serve as a deterrent to crime and a warning to citizens to engage in legal trade practices.

Also, during the inspections, other illegal animals circulating in the market area were identified, and the process of returning birds and small animals to nature was initiated. All animals identified during these processes were released into their natural environment with the support of justice, veterinary staff and environmental specialists. Taking into account the health of the animals, their survival opportunities were ensured.

Illegal animal trade can lead to a disruption of the ecological balance and disrupt biodiversity. In particular, the spread of predatory and parasitic animals such as boas in the market environment increases the risk. In addition, the lack of care for these types of snakes and the poor environmental conditions pose a threat to their health and the health of humans.

According to representatives of the Department of Ecology, such raids should be continued regularly, and keeping markets and trading places under environmental control should become one of the main directions. The established control measures are aimed at preventing all environmental violations, which is an important step in strengthening public confidence.

The responsible agencies are also conducting special campaigns to educate citizens and raise awareness in this regard. To prevent illegal animal trade, propaganda campaigns are organized, urging the population to protect the ecosystem. Preventive measures are also being developed based on environmental experiences from Russia, Germany and other countries.

At the same time, market agencies, eco-patrol and law enforcement agencies, as well as the veterinary service, yesterday conducted joint raids in the Yasnobad district, stopping the activities of individuals involved in the boa constrictor business. The success of this experiment helped to strengthen environmental control in the market area.

Legislation is being strengthened to bring companies to strict liability for environmental crimes. Draft laws are also being considered by the Parliament and the Ministry of Ecology. The effective functioning of legal documents also directs market practices in the right direction: it encourages legal trade networks and restricts illegal activities.

In recent years, convincing results have been observed in the processes implemented under the GJH to protect natural fauna. An example of this is the measures taken against the illegal trade in boa constrictors in Tashkent. It is said that now such raids will be carried out not only in the market area, but also on the streets and on the Internet. In particular, Monitoring Centers for the Illegal Sale of Animals are operating on social networks.

The protection of natural animal species is not limited to strengthening control. Laws are necessary to direct the market in the right direction and ensure that the population is constantly aware of their environmental rights. Ecology departments are conducting seminars on this issue and establishing direct dialogue with the population. This not only forms a modern and transparent trading system, but also forms an ecological culture.

In the eyes of the public, this event is perceived as an important step in raising the environmental awareness of citizens. The active participation of market owners in ecological raids also deters them from engaging in malicious trading in the market environment. The results of ecological control, no matter how they were implemented before, are much more effective than now.

In conclusion, it can be said that the ecological control bodies of Tashkent city are successfully combating animal trafficking and environmental crimes through today's raids, through passenger and trading places. This is an important step not only in maintaining the biological balance, but also in strengthening environmental responsibility among citizens.
