The incident that occurred on September 4 in the Kurgantepa district of the Andijan region caused concern among local residents. The driver of the Nexia-2 car, not stopping at the red light, violated traffic rules and collided with the driver of the moped.
The collision was severe, with the Nexia partially losing control and hitting a cyclist on the side of the road. According to official information from the regional Traffic Safety Department, this tragic incident occurred on the section of the D-137 highway "Teshiktosh-Oyim Qo'rg'ontepa-Yorqishloq," specifically at the 48th kilometer.
The Nexia, driven by A.Q., born in 1996, first hit the moped, and then the cyclist. As a result of the accident, the moped driver Sh.A. and the cyclist B.N. were admitted to the Kurgantepa district emergency medical department with various minor injuries.
Currently, an investigation is underway regarding this tragic incident. It is guaranteed that all measures will be taken against the offending Nexia driver in accordance with the procedure established by law. Following the incident, local residents and road users are urged to be even more cautious.
