In one of the shops in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region, a seller was beaten by several people. This was revealed through a video circulating on social media, and the regional Department of Internal Affairs officially confirmed it.
The incident occurred on September 22 at approximately 6:30 PM in one of the shops in the "Mergancha" neighborhood of Urgut district. Citizen Kh.M., born in 1993, came to the store with three acquaintances and, citing a disagreement that had arisen the day before between his brother and S.Sh., who was selling in the store, beat S.Sh. and inflicted bodily harm on him.
Currently, the Investigative Department under the Urgut District Department of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case under Article 277, Part 3, Clause "G" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Hooliganism). According to the official statement of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, "preliminary investigative actions are currently underway."
This situation once again demonstrates the importance of ensuring security and order among the local community and store owners.
