In the Kashkadarya region, a female motorcyclist and a Gentra driver were administratively penalized for organizing a speed race on city streets at night.
A video circulating on social media shows a motorcycle and a car driver competing in speed on Karshi Central Street. According to the regional Department of Internal Affairs Traffic Safety Department, the incident occurred around 1:00 AM on October 13th of this year.
During the investigation, it was established that the motorcycle was driven by a girl living in the Andijan region, who did not have a driver's license. In order to gain attention on social networks, he decided to organize a race and reached an agreement with the driver of the Gentra, who lives in the city of Karshi.
Both drivers grossly violated traffic rules, obstructed the movement of pedestrians and other vehicles, and put the lives of others at risk.
According to the court's decision, the girl was found guilty under Articles 128-10 (road hooliganism), 183 (petty hooliganism), and 194 (disobedience to the lawful demands of law enforcement officers) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. He was sentenced to three days of administrative arrest and a fine of 25 times the basic calculation amount - 10.3 million soums.
The Gentra driver was deprived of his driver's license for one year, imprisoned for five days, and will pay the same fine - 25 BRV.
