In Samarkand, drivers driving under the influence of alcohol were severely punished

In the Jomboy district of the Samarkand region, a court verdict was announced against four drivers who grossly violated traffic safety, driving under the influence of alcohol. This was reported by the Road Safety Service.

According to reports, these individuals grossly violated traffic regulations, posing a serious threat to the safety of those around them. As a result of the investigation, individual measures of punishment were determined for each of them.

In particular, three drivers were sentenced to a fine of 40 times the basic calculated value and deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for three years. This is expected to be a serious lesson for them.

Another driver was administratively detained for 15 days for driving a car without a driver's license and while intoxicated.

Also, another citizen who refused to comply with the lawful demand of the traffic police officer was fined one BRV. Another driver was deprived of his driver's license for one year for drifting and dangerous traffic.

According to the Traffic Safety Service, the number of such cases is still not decreasing. In particular, it is noted that some drivers do not sufficiently understand the consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol.

It should be recalled that earlier in the Shakhrisabz district, a citizen who drove a Damas without a driver's license, while intoxicated, was detained for offering a bribe to traffic police inspectors. Also, in Samarkand, 6 drivers were imprisoned for 15 days each for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Law enforcement agencies warned the population once again - driving under the influence of alcohol poses a great danger not only to one's personal life, but also to the fate of others.
