24,000 soums to the state budget from card players


An interesting crime was committed in the Ortachirchiq district of Tashkent region. This was reported by a UPL correspondent.

According to the information, three young men were playing cards at a water pump station. They were detained by law enforcement agencies and 24,000 soums used for the game were confiscated as material evidence.

This sum was used for gambling. During the trial, the young men admitted their guilt and asked for leniency in their punishment.

According to the court decision, the offenders were each fined 1.5 million soums, and the confiscated 24,000 soums were transferred to the state budget as material evidence.
