In Navoi, an accountant of a sports school was detained with a bribe of 3 million soums

In the Navoi region, the heads of a children's and youth sports school were arrested for bribery. According to the State Security Service, the school principal and the chief accountant conspired to receive a "share" of the coach's travel allowance.

They demanded 40 percent - 16 million soums in exchange for paying more than 40 million soums in travel expenses to the coach who participated in the para athletics competition held in Tashkent region in March and May of this year.

After that, the chief accountant transferred 10 million soums to the coach's card and was caught by employees of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes while receiving 3 million soums as a bribe.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals under Article 210, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, and the investigation is ongoing.
