During an operational event held in the Kibray district, two individuals who attempted to illegally sell land belonging to a farm were uncovered. This was reported by the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the information, citizens R.S. (previously prosecuted for fraud) and M.T. gained the trust of citizen F.Sh. and agreed to sell the 6 sotkas of irrigated land of the farm "I.O.," located in the Kibray district, for 54 thousand US dollars by changing its category.
During the operation, the process of receiving $25,000 from them was clearly recorded. The suspects were immediately detained with physical evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28 and 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. Preliminary investigative actions are currently underway.
The official statement emphasizes that transactions such as the exchange or sale of land plots can only be carried out through authorized state organizations. Therefore, citizens are advised not to attempt to acquire or sell land illegally, and in such cases, to contact the relevant authorities.
