
Significant personnel changes have taken place in the administrative apparatus of the Tashkent regional government. On November 6, by decision of the regional governor, Dilshod Ozodovich Rasulov, who previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was appointed as Assistant to the Governor of Tashkent region.
He will manage issues related to the development of local industry. Dilshod Rasulov was born in 1972 and graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute in 1994 and from the Higher School of Strategic Analysis and Forecasting in 2003.
His career from 1997 to 2023 included serving in various positions at the Customs Committee, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Presidential Administration. Since January 2024, Rasulov supervised wide-ranging areas at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, such as international cooperation, attracting investments, collaboration with international brands, export support, and certification.
At the same time, another important appointment was made. Umidjon Raimkulovich Ubaydullaev was appointed as First Deputy Head of the Regional Department of Investment, Industry, and Trade.
It should be noted that prior to this appointment, Ubaydullaev served as assistant to the governor for local industry development issues. Rasulov will now take over this position.
Umidjon Ubaydullaev is qualified in international journalism and public administration management. For now, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has not provided official information about who will become the new deputy chairman in Rasulov's place.
The new appointments are expected to give an additional boost to the economic development of the capital region, as well as strengthen cooperation in attracting investments and supporting local manufacturers. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
