According to pre-investigation data, the official received $200 in exchange for the approval of the apartment building project, which the entrepreneur planned to build in September 2025. However, he didn't stop there and later demanded another 6 million soums from the same entrepreneur to certify the documents for the construction of a private school.

During the operation, she was caught red-handed while receiving the bribe through her spouse. Law enforcement agencies documented the fact that he, using his position, demanded money from citizens.

According to the law, a person found guilty under this article may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years. It is also possible that by a court decision, his right to work in public services will be restricted or his property will be confiscated.

Officials of the State Security Service emphasize that such cases are not only an important measure to strengthen accountability, but also to ensure transparency and justice in the state system.

Within the framework of the reforms carried out in recent years, the fight against corruption has become one of the priority tasks. In particular, measures are being taken to strengthen control over the activities of civil servants, increase the financial accountability of officials, and ensure transparency in relations with citizens.

This situation once again shows that any illegal actions in the state system, especially cases of receiving or demanding bribes, are strictly punished.

Currently, investigative bodies are continuing the investigation. Officials stated that the case could be taken to court following the investigation.

Lawyers emphasize that such cases damage the reputation of civil servants and undermine public trust. Therefore, citizens should also contact the relevant authorities if they encounter such situations.
