Another road accident in the city of Tashkent ended tragically. Today, December 20, a Lacetti and a Nexia-3 collided in the Yashnabad district of the capital, resulting in the death of a passenger in the Nexia. This was reported by the Tashkent City Road Safety Department.
According to official information, the incident occurred at approximately 03:45 on Makhdumkuli Street in the Yashnabad district. The driver of the Lacetti, born in 2004, lost control during the movement and the car crossed into the oncoming lane. As a result, he collided with a Nexia-3 vehicle driven by S.A., born in 1977.
As a result of the accident, a passenger in a Nexia-3 sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. Also, the drivers of both cars received injuries of varying degrees, and they received first aid from doctors.
In connection with the incident, the Investigative Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent initiated a criminal case under part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code, i.e., violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of vehicles. Currently, the investigation into this case is ongoing.
