In Tashkent, a pyrotechnic blast cost a child his hand

The Tashkent City Police Department press service issued another warning. This was reported by upl.uzreports.

According to the report, a child living in the Yangihayot district was recently brought to the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medical Care with severe injuries. Initial examinations found that a pyrotechnic device exploded in his hand.

As a result of the explosion, burns were observed on various parts of the child’s body, and several fingers on the injured hand were torn off. The most severe part is that all the bones in the palm were shattered and the tissues were seriously damaged, forcing doctors to amputate the hand.

The police urged parents to protect children from pyrotechnics. It was emphasized that pyrotechnics entering Uzbekistan are mostly smuggled in, which is leading to an increase in low-quality products dangerous to human health and life.
