Cobalt caught fire in Tashkent on New Year’s night

The press service of the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department provided details on a fiery traffic accident on New Year’s night. This was reported by upl.uzreports.

On January 1 at around 02:00, the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department received a report of a road traffic accident involving two vehicles. A Tracker and a Cobalt collided on Mahtumquli Street in Yashnobod district, and after the impact the Cobalt was engulfed in flames.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene at 02:08 and began firefighting operations. Six minutes later the car was fully extinguished, but the fire left the Cobalt almost completely unusable.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
