According to the press service of the Social Protection Agency, assistance was provided to an Uzbek citizen who found himself in a difficult situation in Russia. This was reported by upl.uz.reports.
It is noted that, based on an appeal from the Russian Federation’s Social Adaptation Center, Uzbekistan’s Social Protection Agency, together with other relevant state bodies, supported a citizen who was struggling abroad. It was found that he had health issues and had lost all his documents.
As a result, on December 30, 2025, the citizen was brought to Uzbekistan on the “Moscow–Istanbul–Tashkent” route under the supervision of medical staff and placed at the Tashkent Region Social Support Center.
It was also reported that the agency sent an official request to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for assistance in restoring the citizen’s documents.
