The press service of the Authorized Representative of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) provided information regarding an appeal in Tashkent Region. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
It was stated that two former employees of a private enterprise located in the region contacted the Ombudsman and asked for assistance in recovering monthly compensation payments that had been suspended since August 2024. It was found that they had suffered workplace injuries in 1997 and 1999, so the enterprise was supposed to make regular payments to them.
Based on the appeal, a statement of claim was filed with the inter-district civil court in Yangiyol city. After reviewing the case materials, the court upheld the plaintiffs’ claims and ruled to recover 35 million soums from the private enterprise in their favor.
Following a supervisory review, it was confirmed that the citizens received the designated amount in full.
