Reports circulated on social media that a young child in the Andijan region was bandaged and charged a price of 50,000 soums caused serious concern among the public. On January 2 of this year, a temporary resident of Andijan city (born in 1999 in Kashkadarya region) K.D. was leaving for her place of residence, leaving her two young children (a boy and a girl born in 2019 and 2023) with her 9-year-old eldest son S.A. (a boy born in 2017) and went to the store with her baby (born in 2025). It is said that after this situation, the children were left unattended for a short time.

The older brother, who was supposed to look after his younger siblings, said that when his mother left, he tied his sister's hand to the iron handle of the stairs with a string so that she wouldn't go out onto the roadway.

It is reported that the woman was warned not to leave her children unattended in connection with the situation. Currently, within the framework of the pre-investigation check, measures are being taken to give a legal assessment of the woman's behavior towards her children. Rahmonova also said that additional information would be provided on this matter.
