In the “Малика” торговый комплекс in the city of Тошкент, another inspection and study work was carried out. As a result, 117 citizens were registered in the установленный порядок, and their activity was formalized on a legal basis. This was reported by the press service of the Солиқ қўмитаси.
According to the information, a meeting was held in this trade complex with the participation of the heads of the Тошкент city tax administration, the city прокуратура, and the Department for combating economic crimes. At it, priority tasks were set regarding measures against the hidden economy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements in trade activity, and strengthening tax discipline. Specific instructions were given to those responsible, and implementation was taken under control.
After that, the officials studied the territory of the trade complex and held preventive talks with entrepreneurs. They provided necessary explanations on ensuring transparency in trade processes, fully reflecting revenues, expanding non-cash settlements, using cash-register control equipment, and timely issuing electronic invoices.
According to the results of the conducted listing, up to today, in the territory of the complex, the activity of 129 legal entities and 267 individual entrepreneurs has been studied. In this process, 117 citizens were also registered in the установленный tartib and their activity was officially formalized. The Солиқ қўмитаси noted that such “targeted and systemic measures” serve to reduce hidden economic activity, strengthen a fair competition environment, and increase budget revenues.
A notable point in this topic is that President Шавкат Мирзиёев at the meeting held on 27 January assessed the work of tax bodies in fighting the hidden economy as “absolutely unsatisfactory”. The head of state said that in the “Чорсу” market, payment discipline was not put in place, and in the “Малика” trade complex the situation was even more deplorable.
The figures cited at the meeting also attracted public attention: although about 1.5 thousand entrepreneurs operate in the complex, only one quarter of them were registered, 25 percent do not pay even 1 million сум in taxes per month, and it was also emphasized that in December, trade revenues of 600 billion сум withdrawn through plastic cards were hidden.
In this meeting, the President instructed to dismiss the head of the Шайхонтоҳур district tax inspection Ҳожиакбар Муллажонов and the head of the Тошкент city tax administration Юнусжон Насимжонов, to study their activity and ensure the rule of law. He instructed the chairman of the Солиқ қўмитаси to dismiss the heads of all district tax inspections in Тошкент city and appoint acting heads. At this meeting, the first deputy chairman of the Солиқ қўмитаси Мубин Мирзаев was dismissed due to indifference to work and irresponsibility.
