On Saturday evening, a major road accident occurred on Nukus Street in the central part of Tashkent.
According to preliminary information, the black Gentra lost control during the movement and went into the oncoming lane. As a result, the vehicle was seriously damaged, and the roadside traffic light equipment was also broken.
According to the Tashkent City Road Safety Department, 19-year-old A.O. was driving the Gentra.
According to reports, the accident occurred near the intersection with Glinka Street. The Gentra first collided with a Nexia 3 moving in the same direction as it. After that, the car crossed the concrete barrier and crashed into a Cobalt parked at the intersection.
Medical personnel promptly arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the Gentra driver.
High speed is cited as the primary cause of the traffic accident. Officials also noted that cases of speeding on this section of the street are regularly observed.
