In the Navoi region, a blogger who misinterpreted the argument between a husband and wife was fined. The incident was confirmed by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It was reported that the blogger spread false and unfounded information in her post about the woman's attempted assassination by her husband. As a result, incorrect information has spread widely on social networks.
Investigations revealed that the blogger's story and the reported reports did not correspond to reality. According to the court decision, the blogger was fined 50 times the BRV. At the same time, a fine of 3 BRV was imposed on the spouses who violated public order.
This incident demonstrates the consequences of spreading misinformation for bloggers and social media users.
