Starting June 1, 2026, the procedure for providing household gas cylinders to individuals in Uzbekistan will change. From now on, this service will be provided only through Public Service Centers or the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services. This is stated in the government decree.
The new procedure is aimed at creating convenience for the population and expanding the process of digitalizing public services.
Household gas cylinders are primarily allocated to citizens living in areas not connected to the natural gas network. Applications are submitted through the "E-gaz" system.
If the test result is positive, 1 gas cylinder will be delivered free of charge within 12 working days.
According to JSC "Hududgaztaminot," work continues on integrating the new system with electronic platforms. Currently, millions of consumers in the country are provided with natural and liquefied gas.
