A video circulating on social media showing a father hitting his child in the city of Angren has sparked widespread discussion. The Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs has issued an official statement regarding this incident.
It is reported that the incident occurred on the day of the Eid holiday. The father had taken his two children to a park for a walk. On the way back, the older child tried to run toward the road, and the father grabbed them with his hand to stop them.
During this process, it is stated that the father's hand accidentally hit the child's face, causing their nose to bleed. Bystanders later misinterpreted the situation and shared the video on social media.
During the investigation, the child's mother also provided a statement, noting that there had been no prior instances of violence or abuse by her husband toward their children.
Law enforcement agencies stated that the circulating interpretations do not correspond to reality and urged citizens not to trust unverified information.
