Nursultan Ruzibayev calls on Uzbek fighters to boycott Octagon League
UFC fighter Nursultan Roziboev called on Uzbek athletes not to participate in the Octagon League in Kazakhstan. This is reported by “Sportnews.kz”.

Roziboev made this appeal during a live broadcast on his Instagram page. The athlete came to this decision due to a brawl that occurred before the Octagon League press conference in Almaty.

Kazakh fighter Erkabulan Toktar got into an argument with Uzbek Odilkhon Kamolov and suddenly slapped him. This incident caused a huge uproar among fans of mixed martial arts and the public. Some suspect that this incident may have been a planned act.

In particular, Tajik fighter Kamariddin “Kamil Karate” Hasanov claimed that the incident was staged to increase interest in the third fight between Toktar and Kamolov.

The Octagon League quickly responded to the scandal and took strict action against the athletes - Toktar and Kamolov were suspended from competitions for six months.
