De Bruyne receives deep respect from Pep
As reported just minutes ago, Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has announced that he will leave Manchester City this summer, according to Sports.ru. Team manager Josep Guardiola shared his thoughts on the news.

“There’s no need to speak about what we’ve achieved together in the past ten years — it was unimaginable.

This is a very tough day because a part of us is leaving. When Kompany, Aguero, or David Silva left, their contributions were incredible too. I could name many others, but I’ll mention these three as examples.

We have 10 matches left for sure, and I hope we’ll have 11. At the same time, I believe our fans will show him immense respect.

Kevin De Bruyne is one of the greatest midfielders to ever play in this country.

Right now, he’s feeling good. Kevin struggled a bit after a few serious injuries, but he’s been doing much better lately.

His passes, shots, and overall play were always unique. Whatever we’ve won over the past 10 years — his role in it was massive.

I think we will always remember him as a part of this club. The club made it clear the doors will remain open for him forever. If he wants to take on any role here, he is part of the family,” said the Spanish coach.

For the record: The 33-year-old midfielder played 413 matches for Manchester City, scoring 106 goals and providing 174 assists.
