Super goal and assist: Turon won with the help of Uzbek legionnaires
The team "Turon", which represents the Turkestan region in the current season of the Kazakh Premier League, is in the spotlight of Uzbek football fans. The reason for this is clear - the team has four Uzbek players: Shahboz Umarov, Odilbek Abdumajidov, Khurshid Mukhtorov and young striker Behruz Askarov.

"Turon", which started the season with a victory (2:0) thanks to a goal and an assist from Shahboz Umarov, lost 1:2 in its next two matches against "Aktobe" and the current champion "Kairat".

The game started unsuccessfully for the Turkestan team, which was a guest of "Kyzyl-Zhar" in the fourth round - the hosts opened the score in the 36th minute. However, four minutes later, Shakhboz Umarov put his teammate in an ideal position, creating a goal for Igor Stasevich. This opportunity was not missed and the score was 1:1.

However, “Kyzyl-Zhar” scored another goal before the break with a counterattack and took the lead.

In the second half, the “Turon” coaches brought on 22-year-old Uzbek striker Behruz Askarov in the 57th minute to make a change in the game. His entry into the field became a decisive factor.

Ten minutes after entering the game, Askarov scored a spectacular header to equalize the score. This was Behruz’s debut goal in the Kazakhstan championship. Not content with this, he actively participated in the team’s attacks and at the end of the game set up Luka Zagursky for a goal. The Russian striker did not miss this opportunity and scored the winning goal for “Turon” - 3:2!

On this day, all Uzbek legionnaires in the ranks of “Turon” - Shahboz Umarov, Odilbek Abdumajidov and Khurshid Mukhtorov - played in full.

After this victory, “Turon” increased its accumulated points to 6 and began its movement towards the higher ranks of the championship.

Now, the Turkestans will host one of the top teams of Kazakhstan - “Astana” - on April 19 at home in the fifth round. All eyes will be on the actions of the Uzbek players again.
