Why did Flick refuse a long-term contract with Barcelona?

“I don’t want to sign three-year contracts. I prefer to stay free. I work at one of the best clubs in the world.
I’ll stay one more year, and then we’ll see how things go. If everyone is satisfied, we’ll continue working together.”
