
The Uzbek national team is moving with victorious steps at the **World Championship (IV Division)** among seniors in hockey, which is taking place in Yerevan. So far, our team, which has played in 3 games, has recorded 2 wins and 1 loss and has taken the lead in the tournament table.
1st round: Kuwait — 3:13
In the first game, the Uzbek hockey players performed very confidently against the Kuwaiti team. The big victory with a score of 13:3 has further increased the team's self-confidence.
2nd round: Armenia — 3:2 (in a shootout)
The match against the host Armenia was tense and dramatic. The main time ended with a score of 2:2, but in the shootout, luck was on the side of the Armenians. Despite this, 1 point was scored for Uzbekistan.
Round 3: Iran — 0:20
The strongest victory of the tournament was recorded over Iran with a score of 20:0. This was the first “dry” game not only in the tournament, but also in the history of Uzbek hockey.
Pavel Sinyavsky and Vadim Kravchenko, who scored 87 shots and 4 goals each, and Vasily Zhilov with 14 points (2 goals, 12 assists), rose to second place in the rating.

Uzbekistan, having collected 7 points in 3 games, is currently the leader of the table. Two more matches remain —

If our team wins both matches in regular time, Uzbekistan will advance to Division III B.
