Artem Dovbyk is planning to leave Italy and return to Spain

Roma forward Artem Dovbyk could once again return to the Spanish league, according to a report from Todofichajes.

The source states that the 27-year-old Ukrainian striker is seriously considering a return to his former club, Girona. Dovbyk has linked his decision to whether Girona remains in La Liga. If the Catalan club avoids relegation, he is reportedly open to accepting their offer.

Currently, Girona is experiencing a tough season in the Spanish league. After 33 matches, the team has earned 35 points and sits in 16th place, with more challenges ahead.

It should be recalled that Artem Dovbyk joined Roma in August 2024 in a high-profile transfer. His contract with the Rome-based club runs until the end of June 2029. Despite performing strongly in Serie A, the striker is reportedly interested in reviving his career in Spain.
