Recently, at the Asian Youth Championship, our U-17 national team, led by Uzbek coach Islombek Ismailov, achieved a historic result and won the continental championship. This achievement not only delighted football fans, but also attracted great attention to the coach himself.
According to information received by a Zamin.uz correspondent, Ismailov has already received serious offers from two Super League clubs. In addition, one of the prestigious clubs playing in the top division of Saudi Arabia is also planning to attract an Uzbek specialist to its ranks. It should be noted that the financial aspects of this offer also look very serious.
Such interest, of course, indicates the coach's potential and the results he has achieved with the national team. However, Islombek Ismailov clarified this issue in a short interview with the Zamin.uz website.
“Of course, there are various offers for my future career, but my attention is currently focused on only one direction - preparation for the World Cup. It is very important for me to participate in a major tournament with the team under my management. I will not pay attention to any other issues until the U-17 World Cup in November,” the coach said.
Currently, the Uzbek youth team is in the process of thorough preparation for the World Cup. According to Ismailov, the team is conducting selection work, and the coaching staff is determining individual development directions for each player.
As Ismailov himself noted, the current results are just the beginning, the main test will be in November. Therefore, the coach is determined to justify the trust and adequately defend the honor of Uzbekistan on the international stage during this time.
In short, offers are increasing for Islombek Ismailov, but the coach’s opinion is clear and unambiguous - for now, the main task is only to achieve high results at the U-17 World Cup. After that, it will be possible to think about new plans. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
