Carlo Ancelotti: “The team took 40 shots — I don’t remember anything like it”

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti shared his thoughts after the team’s 2–1 victory over Mallorca in the latest La Liga match. The Italian specialist praised his team’s discipline, work ethic, and competitive spirit.

– Today, the team performed at a very high level. The match didn’t start well for us, but in the middle phase, the entire squad showed excellent form. All the players showed resilience and physical superiority. The win was fully deserved, — Ancelotti said.

He noted that by the end of the season, the team had 12 injured players — a rare situation. However, the team managed to overcome these difficulties through mental preparation, strong internal morale, and unity.

– We took 40 shots on goal today. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time we had such a number. That shows how hard the players worked. We want to finish the season on a high note, — the experienced coach added.
