"It's a disaster!" - Atletico's president is upset about the season

Atletico Madrid are third in the La Liga table heading into the final round of the season, but club president Enrique Cerezo is not satisfied with the result. Despite collecting 73 points, the team has called the season a "disaster."

"Three chances, three defeats"

According to Cerezo, the team had several real chances to win the title during the season, but missed them all:

"We had three chances to win the title, but we didn't do any of them. As a result, we ended up third. There's only one word for it: a disaster."

Prioritization issues and haste

The club president admitted that luck had turned in some matches, but stressed that the main reason was the team's poor performance at times:

"In some places we played very badly. The team was in good form from start to finish, but we often lost ourselves."

Open criticism from Cerezo

Cerezó called the team's inconsistent play and unexpected results "terribly bad." Judging by his words, it can be said that big changes are expected at the club in the summer.
