Abbasbek Fayzullaev: The Uzbek star who dispelled doubts

One of the most exciting and attention-grabbing names in Uzbek football in recent years is Abbasbek Fayzullaev. His move to CSKA, his brilliant career in Russia, and the sharp increase in his transfer fee have caused heated discussions not only in the local but also in the international sports community.

The 19-year-old, who moved from Pakhtakor to the Moscow club in August 2023, was initially treated with caution, but in a short time he became a key figure for CSKA. All the team's attacks were organized precisely through Fayzullaev. He was mentioned as one of the main discoveries in his debut season in the Russian Premier League.

These successes are not unexpected for Abbasbek, a graduate of the Pakhtakor football school. He has always been distinguished by his ambition and steady development on the field. This transfer, which CSKA paid 500 thousand euros for, has now fully paid off. Currently, the Transfermarkt portal values the player at 8 million euros.

This figure is the second highest among Central Asian players. Only Manchester City defender Abdukadir Khusanov (35 million euros) is ahead of him on the list.

Abbasbek Fayzullaev, who was under suspicion, answered all the criticism with his hard work, love and, most importantly, results on the field. He is now becoming one of the faces of football not only in Uzbekistan, but also in our entire region. His future transfer to Europe is probably not far off.
