Exactly one year before FIFA World Cup 2026™, Visa (NYSE: V) announced that football prodigy Lamine Yamal will serve as its global ambassador during the tournament.

Set to be the largest FIFA World Cup ever, hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the USA, Visa will offer exclusive experiences for cardholders, including a meet-and-greet with Yamal in Barcelona, autographed souvenirs, and more.

Tarek Abdalla, Visa's CEMEA marketing director, said:
