After the OKMK – "Shurtan" match, which took place as part of the 12th round of the Super League, the team's head coach Mirjalol Qosimov shared his personal thoughts about the game. "I give only a two to today’s game. It is impossible to deceive football. No matter what place you hold in the tournament table, you must come out for every match with a high level of preparation. In previous matches, we entered the field not fully prepared, but still managed to win. However, this time everything was different. The fight had to start from the first minute," Qosimov said.
According to the coach, the team’s actions were negatively affected by the break during the FIFA days. "Our young players were in France, Tukhtakhojaev was called up to the national team—such factors inevitably affect the team’s harmony," the specialist emphasized.
He admitted that in the second half the team created several opportunities, but there were problems with using them effectively. In any case, Qosimov did not forget to congratulate the national team and the Uzbekistan Football Federation on their historic achievement.
