As a result, the 67-year-old Italian accepted Roma’s offer and signed a contract with the club until the middle of 2028. Now, a full renewal era begins at Roma.

With Gasperini’s arrival, major changes are expected in the team’s roster as well. In this process, the fate of Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov is also of significant importance. His position at Roma may become stronger or, on the contrary, weaken with the change of coach.
