
Currently, the prestigious international karate tournament “Championships-2025” is in full swing in the Kyrgyz Republic. This competition is especially noteworthy for its competitions among 16-17 year olds. Athletes who defended the honor of Uzbekistan in these competitions won many medals with their strong preparation, willpower and skill.
During the day, a number of young athletes fought as part of the Uzbek national team and managed to climb the podium. Among them, five of our athletes won the tournament and raised the flag of our Motherland high:
Gold medalists:
- Pulatova Diyora (-48 kg) - defeated her rivals with her speed and accurate strikes.
- Teshaboeva Mohinur (-56 kg) - triumphed over her rivals with endurance and technique.
- Egamberdieva Sabrina (+66 kg) - left no chance for her rivals in the large weight category.
- Qabilov Aslbek (-76 kg) — he dominated the fight, winning not only victory, but also the applause of the fans.
- Zoirov Begzod (+76 kg) — was recognized as the strongest athlete in his category.
Silver medalists:
- Mardiga Vladislava (+66 kg)
- Bahromov Sardor (-76 kg)
- Mardonov Firdavs (+76 kg)
Bronze medalists:
- Sadullaev Sukhrob (-61 kg)
- Zokirov Samandar (-68 kg)
The official press release of the Uzbekistan Karate WKF Association notes that our young people have seriously prepared for the competition and have once again demonstrated their skills on the international stage.
This success is a proud event not only for the athletes, but also for the entire sports community of Uzbekistan. There are still many competitions ahead, but today's victories will give our compatriots great confidence and inspiration.
