Before Real Madrid’s match in the USA, the city of Atlanta filled with fans. According to Mundo Deportivo, the area around the stadium came to life ahead of the Real Madrid vs Pachuca game — the main attention was focused on the names of Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé, and, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Most of the fans wore the shirts of these stars, but the greatest admiration was still shown to Ronaldo. Even though his career at the club ended years ago, the love for him has not faded.
A fan from Atlanta who came to the stadium with his family said:
“We have so many memories with Ronaldo. He holds a special place in Real’s history. We came to enjoy the game and support our team.”
A father and son wearing a Ronaldo #7 shirt added:
“My child has loved Ronaldo since childhood. He has been following Cristiano since his Real Madrid days. I too became a Real fan under his influence.”
As the match approached, the cheapest ticket was being sold for $92. A small number of Pachuca fans were also around the stadium. It should be noted that Pachuca lost their previous match, while Real Madrid drew with a club from Saudi Arabia.
