At the “World Boxing” organization’s cup currently underway in Astana, Kazakhstan, another unforgettable moment occurred for boxing fans. The tournament has now entered its most intense phase — today, the quarterfinal stage began, further boosting intrigue and the atmosphere of dramatic bouts.

Particularly, the performance of Feruza Kazakova, representing our country in the -54 kg weight category, caused great excitement among fans. She faced off against Huang Hsiao-Wen of Chinese Taipei. Although Kazakova lost the first round by points, in the next two rounds she completely pulled herself together and, through active and dedicated actions, managed to take control.

The fight lasted the full distance, and every punch, every step became decisive for the boxers. In the end, the judges awarded victory to Feruza Kazakova with a score of 3-2 — thus, our boxer earned a ticket to the semifinals, taking another step closer to her big goal.

This victory in the arena packed with passionate coaches and fans in Astana became an important event not only for Feruza, but for the entire Uzbek boxing school, giving new spirit and motivation to young boxers.
