Uzbek talent agrees transfer to Belgian club
The career of one of Uzbekistan's top young football talents, Muhammadali Urinboev, appears set to continue in Europe, reports UPL.uz.

The 20-year-old midfielder, a product of Tashkent's Paxtakor club, has reached a preliminary agreement to join Belgian top-tier club Royal Antwerp.

According to Championat.asia, negotiations between the clubs and the player's representatives are at their final stage. Notably, another Belgian club, Genk, also expressed strong interest in Urinboev, but their offer was declined due to a prior verbal agreement with Antwerp.

A key factor in Urinboev’s decision was the guarantee of regular playing time. Antwerp’s management assured the player he would receive sufficient minutes on the pitch to adapt and grow professionally in the competitive European league.

All formalities are expected to be finalized soon, and the official signing could be announced later this week. Urinboev will then join his new team for preseason preparations.

Paxtakor, where Urinboev was developed, is one of the most successful and well-known clubs not only in Uzbekistan but in all of Central Asia.
