A new chapter has begun in Eldor Shomurodov’s career — Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir has officially announced his transfer.
According to the long-discussed deal, Shomurodov has signed a two-year contract with the Turkish side. The club also has the option to extend the deal by one more year. Notably, Basaksehir has loaned him from Roma for €3 million, with a purchase option worth €2.7 million.
10% of any future transfer fee will go to the Italian club Roma. This means that if Shomurodov is sold for a higher price later, the Romans will benefit financially.
